A chat with Robert Wright about Trump’s antisemitism policies

Last week, I had a 90 minute chat with Bob Wright at the NonZero newsletter about how the Trump administration is weaponizing antisemitism.

Bob writes on faith, philosophy, foreign policy and myriad other issues. I never walk away from reading him or chatting with him without feeling challenged, in the best way.

We agreed on some things, disagreed on others, including the extent of the pro-Israel lobby’s influence, and how one assesses when Israel criticism crosses into antisemitism.

But it’s also two old white guys being civil and friendly, which I know is the kind of encounter soooo many people long for.
